REVIEW: FENTY FOUNDATION AND LIP PAINT

Post available in English and Romanian
La ultima mea calatorie in Madrid m-am oprit in primul Sephora si am cumparat cele doua produse. Rihanna’s cosmetics line launched in September 2017 was on my wishlist ever since. Everyone had only nice things to say about the products and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them. Most of the Fenty products are very praised, but I believe that the PRO FILT’R foundation and the STUNNA LIP PAINT got the most positive reviews. The cosmetics line is not available in Romania; I could have bought the lip paint online, but buying a foundation without color matching it first is a no-no. During my last trip to Madrid, I rushed to the first Sephora in my way and bought the two products.

In aceeasi zi am testat si rujul pentru prima data.

It’s almost impossible not to find your true match foundation shade, there are 40 of them! After the first wear, I instantly liked the PRO FILT’R. The pump releases a good amount of product; it’s liquid but not runny. It does not dry up very fast so there’s plenty of time to apply it. I use a smaller amount, but you can build up the product for more coverage. During the winter my skin becomes too dry and sometimes flaky, and I was worried this could show, but it’s not the case. During my first day of testing, I wore the foundation for about 16 hours. At the end of the day, it did not oxidize and still looked pretty good. Now that I know my shade I’ll have no problem ordering the foundation online after I’ll finish this bottle.

During the same day, I also wore the lipstick. Rihanna stays true to her word and the color does indeed look great on my skin (I was a bit nervous about this since choosing a flattering red is a bit difficult). It lasted with no problems through eating a two-course meal and drinking plenty of beer. It also did not dry up my lips, but I recommend using a lip pencil because after a while it does have a tendency to bleed.

I’m really glad that the two products did not disappoint and I can’t wait to try other products from the collection. I hope I won’t have to wait too long for the product to also be available in Romania.
