| In afara de Kusadasi, in Turcia, am vizitat si Istanbul. A fost doar o vizita scurta, de doua zile, ce a avut ca eveniment principal un concert U2, care a avut loc pe Stadionul Ataturk. A fost o experienta unica si nu regret ca nu am dormit timp de aproape 48 de ore si apoi am ajuns direct la serviciu. | Besides Kusadasi I’ve also visited Istanbul in Turkey. It was a flash visit, just two days long, and the main event was the U2 concert, at Ataturk Stadium. It was definitely worth the almost 48 hours with no sleep, and then a full day at work. |

MY STAY IN KUSADASI

| In Kusadasi am fost cazata la un hotel de 3 stele, Asena. Locatia e perfecta, aproape de Ladies Beach. E un hotel bun daca aveti un buget redus si vreti sa va cazati intr-o zona buna.
Mancarea a fost buna, dar nu foarte diversificata. L-as descrie mai mult ca pe un hotel de 2 stele plus. Oricum, asa e oranduirea la mare la turci, as recomanda mai degraba hotelurile de minim 4 stele. In prima noapte ne-au spus ca nu mai au camere, am fost mutati la un hotel de 2 stele din apropiere (a fost ingrozitor). Am revenit a doua zi, nu am primit nici scuze, nici banii inapoi si nici nu am gasit in camera cosul cu fructe promis pentru deranj. Atentie, apa de la baie e usor sarata, in niciun caz de baut. In alta ordine de idei, piscina hotelului e draguta, dar extrem de mica. | In Kusadasi we stayed at Asena Hotel. Perfect location, next to Ladies Beach. Good hotel if you don’t want to spend much and stay in a nice area.
Good food, but not very diversified. It’s more of a 2+ stars hotel. But that’s how things usually go in Turkey, a 4 star hotel is what you should choose if you want to splurge. In the first night they told us that they are overbooked and moved us to a 2 star hotel nearby (it was awful). When we returned next morning, no apologies or refunding, and we didn’t even find in the room the fruit basket they promised for the trouble. Otherwise the hotel pool is nice, but too small. |

| Ultima excursie in Kusadasi a fost pe apa, cu un vaporas. Am vazut multe plaje ascunse, iar apa era atat de albastra si cristalina incat fundul marii se vedea chiar daca apa depasea 10 metri adancime. | The last piece about my trip to Kusadasi is about the boat trip we took. We’ve seen so many hidden beaches and the water was so blue and clear that we could see the bottom even if the water was 10 meters deep. |
