We always tend to think about what’s coming next instead of focusing on the present moment. When we are at work, we count the days left until the weekend. When we are at the supermarket, we only think about how we can get home faster. When we are bored, we think about our next vacation, and the examples could keep on coming. Life is made up of dull, exciting, good, bad, all of the existing emotions, a positive and negative mix, to create a unique cocktail for each one of us. Instead of thinking about what the next “drink” will be, we should focus on tasting each sip, with all the flavors.

Life kept me busy these last days 🙂 I’ve faced changes, a new beginning and I’ve had enough adventures for a year (more or less pleasant). But one of the things that made me smile was the parting gift received from my former work colleagues. I took another step in my career and they wanted to make sure I won’t forget them.

My fix for when I’m not in the mood for cooking but I don’t want to eat junk food at lunch the next day 🙂

Asadar, indrazniti sa faceti lucruri noi, cine stie s-ar putea chiar sa va placa! Some time ago I left the country on my own for the first time. I would never have done this if it wasn’t for the job. Paris was my destination, a city I knew well (a few years ago I vacationed there). I left the home terrified by the days to come. I would have never even thought to take walks alone in a foreign city or eat alone at a restaurant. But still, I had to do it. Now, when I’m back home I can only say: I regret nothing. I am even happy I escaped the routine and I had the chance to try new things. So dare to do the unexpected, who knows, you might just enjoy it.
